Had lunch here today celebrating a birthday. Weather warnings were dire but pub staff reassured us patiently by phone that roads all clear. So glad we decided to go ahead. Excellent Sunday roast meal, possibly best ever had! Top quality food and premises. Attentive friendly service. Will def return, and recommend to others. Plentiful parking.

We’ve just spent a wonderful weekend at The Plough. The room was beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable. The food was fantastic. We had breakfast and evening meals here. There was a wide selection of gluten free dishes (my husband has coeliac disease so this was brilliant). I must give a shout out to Harriet who was particularly helpful with advising my husband on suitable dishes. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Drinks by a lovely log fire on arrival. Help with luggage to room which was great. Meals over two nights first class with super friendly service - in fact staff all round were excellent. My only gripe was that the heating in both the bedroom and particularly the bathroom was inadequate. The weather unfortunately when we were there was wet and cold so we returned to our room quite early and the heating was not on. Sat in bed to keep warm !

What a find! Fantastic pub with a great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and excellent food ... well done to all the team here. Good range to choose from on the menus ... and top marks for the wide availability of most items being gluten free too. Great flavours and plenty of it. Dog friendly for well behaved dogs and a roaring log fire. Wheelchair accessible and they accommodated smaller portions for an elderly person in our party. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful despite it being busy.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch, the food and the service from the staff was amazing. Keep up the great work, we will be returning in the near future. It's just a shame we don't have this pub on our doorstep.

I cannot believe this has only 4.6.. this establishment is one of the best in the Yorkshire Dales and a great base to explore from! I'm Coeliac and I was given the most attentive waitress, Harriet, who made sure everything was perfect!! And.. it was.. the food here is outstanding..the chef will make sure he can accommodate you. The A La Carte menu has a wonderful selection. I've not had Duck, cooked so perfectly in a long time! Attila [the Hun] welcomes you , makes you feel at home and is SO good, watching out for you as guests..Violet one of the waitresses also knew I was Coeliac and was SO professional too..in fact ALL the staff , and the food AND the most comfortable room , make this a place you cannot miss in the Dales!! EXCEPTIONAL XXX

We had a brilliant New Year’s Eve at the Plough in Wigglesworth as a family of four, with our dog, and couldn’t have asked for a better night The New Year’s meal was excellent – really tasty, well cooked, and everyone loved it. The atmosphere was great and we were looked after so well by the staff all evening. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and they made a real fuss of us (and the dog!). Special mention to the lady who waited our table – sorry we didn’t catch your name, but you were fantastic and really helped make the night so enjoyable. You’re a genuine asset to the business!! To top it all off, the manager kindly gave us a lift home at the end of the night, which was completely unexpected and such a lovely touch. A cracking evening with great food and even better hospitality. Highly recommend the Plough – we’ll definitely be back.
